Boxee is a sea-freight parcel service for Filipino workers in Hong Kong sending balikbayan boxes home. We pick up at Statue Square every Sunday or come to a spot near you, ship by sea, clear Philippine customs, and deliver to your family's door anywhere in the Philippines.
One price per box, all in. Pickup, shipping, customs, and door delivery. The number we tell you in Hong Kong is the number, full stop. Your family pays nothing when the box arrives. About two to three weeks, drop-off to door.
We started Boxee because too many balikbayan boxes arrive late, light, or never. Senders pay a price in Hong Kong then get charged again on delivery. Boxes get opened in transit and nobody can say where or when. Families wait on a date and find out a week after the box is supposed to land that it hasn't left customs. We thought it should be simpler: one price, one button, photos at every step, somebody you can message who actually replies.
